Background
Although heavily based on the 'old' MB SLK (R170), the Crossfire is
still a very sophisticated and complex vehicle that is riddled with
technology. Although this is a good thing in many respects it poses
several problems for the tuner. Many of the car's systems are
interlinked making isolated modifications problematic. The
knowledge base for this vehicle in the tuning industry is also
relatively small, mainly confined to a few high class German tuning
companies with previous experience of MB cars.
This means a considerable amount of work is required. Here are
some links to what I have been working on so far. Please be patient
if there are sections that are incomplete, I try to write up and
upload content as soon as possible but it can be a very time
consuming process and often takes longer than expected.
